Where Quality and Service Matter Most
Satisfying customers has always been Bastien Wireless’s primary focus. “We’re family owned, and we all live in the towns and cities we service,” says Steve Bastien, noting his son Jason Bastien is the company’s president and son Matt Bastien is director of operations. “Our mission is to offer the best product to meet customers’ needs at the lowest prices, and that includes providing excellent service. We even go on-site to evaluate the needs of our business clients.”
Bastien opened his first store in Havana in 1989, then expanded to Pekin and Washington before opening a superstore at the intersection of Sheridan Road and War Memorial Drive in Peoria.
In addition to selling Verizon services, they have their own local service center to accommodate the needs of customers.
Bastien Wireless’s commitment to quality has resulted in numerous sales awards over the past two decades. “We realize our best business decision is not to open more stores, but instead to focus on internally expanding the stores we have and to provide top-notch service for our customers.”
Clear wireless communication with quality connections, coupled with exceptional customer service, make Bastien Wireless the leading provider in the tri-county area.
Bastien Wireless is now offering a FREE Smartphone Training Class for Android phones and for iPhones at our Peoria, Washington and at our Havana location! For more information, please call the Peoria store at (309) 685-6700, or the Washington store at (309) 444-3575 Havana store at (309) 543-3046.
IL Bans Hand-Held Cell Phones for Drivers in 2014
Starting next year, you will no longer be able to talk on a hand-held cell phone while behind the wheel in Illinois. Governor Pat Quinn has amended the Illinois Vehicle Code to prohibit the use of a hand-held cell phone while operating a motor vehicle. This law is effective January 1, 2014, making Illinois one of many states to enact such a law. The law still permits drivers to utilize a cell phone in hands-free mode or with the use of a headset. However, use of a hand-held cell phone can subject one to a $75 fine for the first offense, only to be increased by $25 for each offense until reaching $150 for the fourth or subsequent offense. There are some exemptions to the law for the use of cell phones by law enforcement officers, those who utilize a cell phone to report an emergency and for those who are stopped in traffic so long as their motor vehicle is in neutral or park.
